I can't wait for the aruna scenes! :-P
What fun to design costumes and hair&makeup for!
I'd love to see it happen.

I have been a huge fan of Wraeththu since I first read it about ten years ago. I've done every job in low buget independent filmmaking you can think of (except edit) and would love to work on the project. Storm lives down in SF so would not be hard to contact. The rights to the screen play may be pricey if she's not willing to help produce. The BRC community could cough up enough tall beautiful men for the cast, not to mention costuming, props, set design, sfx, dfx, etc.

Oh (burnning)Man! That's It! The first naritive feature length film(s) funded by the Burnning Man Foundation! What do ya say guy's? Let's do it!

    Otter.

I had just quit my job in a fit of rage when my boss thought he would address me in a rude manner one morning.....I simply left, got on my bike and went out to seek other employment....damn everything if my hard labor and daily vigilance amount to nothing more than what's expected, I stumbled upon a distant branch of my local library, went into the booksale room, held up my arm to a thick book with a strange name......Wraiththu. I guard the copy with my life, I recommend it to everyone who would benefit from it's contents. Not since the Bordertown series has there been such a kick-ass workld created about magical men, of course written by a woman.....thank you Storm.
I have drawn a few characters and thought about interesting storylines, ones taking place in the beginning, when Wraiththu were new and savage.....If a film or comic book ever become a reality I would like to assist. I'm a good penciller, costume designer, writer etc....currently working on my first four issue miniseries with a friend of mine, we work at the CGC - comics guarantee corp, grading and sealing collectible comics. And in our spare time, peck away at being creators.

Hey, I'm new to this forum, but I've been a Wraeththu fan for about a year now.

Although a movie would be flippin' awesome, I think we'd have to up the readership of the Chronicles for it to really be successful. Especially in North America. I don't know what it's like elsewhere, but most people I meet haven't even heard of Storm Constantine, let alone Wraeththu.

I LOVE the idea of a Graphic Novel. I actually work at a public library and do collection development for Young Adults. Graphic Novels are extremely popular with teens and appeal to those who don't like to read books in general. They have really high circulation stats and would be a great way of getting the word out about Storm's work. Maybe if (and when) the Wraeththu Chronicles hit the mainstream readership, there will be more interest among producers.

      Just a thought, anyway. ;)

i have a bit of acting under my belt.. nothin major.. but more than anything i posses a desire to see Storm's amazing world brought to life.. especially upon the silver screen... *anything* i could do to be a part of its creation i would happily do... we're talking even a go-fer position.... what are the creators lookin for?
